Last Thursday, 18th of February, TLP was invited to give a conference at Academia General del Aire (AGA) in San Javier, Murcia. TLP’s Commandant, Colonel Carlos Presa, Chief of the Flying Branch USAF Lieutenant Colonel, Zachary Mellor, and Chief of the Academics Branch ITAF Major Daniele Catamo, briefed more than 100 cadets on behalf of the TLP Staff.
As a tradition, every year a delegation of AGA students visit TLP during these months but, given the restrictions and safety measures taken in order to fight COVID-19, TLP, as well as Academia General del Aire, opted to celebrate a smaller conference in San Javier in order to give the students the possibility of learning about TLP in spite of the circumstances.
During the conference, AGA students were taught about TLP’s mission, history and future. The cadets were especially interested about tactical aspects regarding command and control, and their professional development related to TLP courses.
ESP AF Academy’s students had a direct chance to view the immediate future of aerospace power, in which these cadets, as future NATO leaders, will take part in the years to come.
