Last Monday, 27th of February, a delegation of ENAIRE, the leading air navigation and aeronautical information service provider in Spain, EUROCONTROL, a pan-European, civil-military organization dedicated to support European aviation, and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC) visited the Tactical Leadership Programme. The visit was coordinated by Major General Manuel Gimeno, Director of Civ-Mil Coordination in ENAIRE.
Upon their arrival at the TLP HQ, they were welcomed by its Commandant, Luis Alberto Martínez Ruiz, and by the Chief of Operations Lt. Col Juan Jose Sellán.
The visit started with Col Martínez’ presentation on the organization, objectives, main activities and latest developments of the Tactical Leadership Programme, focusing on the coordination that it is made in the use of the airspace and the evolution of this airspace over the years.
Later, the three delegations could witness a demonstration of the capabilities of the TLP flight simulator and also, observe the take-offs of the participants in the TLP mission. Finally, they were present in the TLP operations room observing the execution of the mission.
