AJE ALBACETE CONCEDES ITS SOCIAL AWARD TO TLP ON ITS XVIII “JOVENES EMPRESARIOS” AWARDS

The Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Albacete has held on Thursday, 10th of October their XVIII edition of the Young Entrepreneur Awards, granting its Social Recognition to the Tactical Leadership Programme, who will celebrate this month its tenth anniversary since it was installed in Albacete’s Los Llanos Air Base.

The act was attended by Lieutenant General César Miguel Simón López, Chief of the Spanish Air Combat Command (MACOM) and was accompanied by Colonel Andrés E. Maldonado, TLP’s Commandant, Colonel Pedro E. Belmonte Giménez, Ala 14’s Commander and Colonel Rafael Gómez Blanco, Maestranza Aerea’s Commander, as well as the chiefs of the different branches that make up the TLP.

This Recognition was collected by TLP’s Commandant who, after thanking their presence to the civil and military authorities, recognized feeling very honored for receiving this award in the name of every member of TLP. During his first words he referred to the great job made by his predecessors, including all the civil and military personnel, Spanish and foreigner, as well as their families, who have worked at TLP Albacete from October 2009 till this date.

He highlighted the excellent job and collaboration carried out by the Air Base personnel, Maestranza Aérea and Ala 14, which has greatly contributed to the development of TLP in Albacete. Additionally, he thanked the Spanish Air Force for the “success of installing this project in Spain, concretely in Los Llanos Air Base”.

Colonel Maldonado, pointed out as well that TLP’s success also resides in “the hospitality, kindness and closeness of the people from Albacete”, and summarized the meaning of this award for the Programme in three words: “hope, encouragement, and motivation”.

Lastly, TLP’s Commandant showed his compromise to keep on working to “care for, maintain and improve the already excellent and mutually beneficial relationship between TLP and Albacete, and Castilla la Mancha”.

The organization wanted to highlight with this recognition the great economic and social benefits for the city of Albacete that the Programme has brought, as well as its strong international impact on the countries that make up TLP and participate in the different flying and academic courses that take place throughout the year.

During the act, the Government of Spain´s Subdelegate in Albacete, Miguel Juan Espinosa, wanted to address a few words to TLP and stressed that this recognition “ratifies the tight and long-lasting relationship of the aeronautical sector and the Air Base with Albacete”

Similarly, the President of Albacete’s Provincial Council, Santiago Cabañero, didn’t want to miss the opportunity to congratulate TLP highlighting the revolution that this Programme has meant for Albacete and that it does not stop moving forward, wishing for many achievements in the coming years.
