CAR RENTAL SERVICE

It offers the rental of vehicles of different categories (passenger cars, vans, executive or luxury sedans and minibuses). This service is offered by National-Atesa. Anyone wanting to rent a car, goes to the TLP billeting´s Reception Desk and provides his/her data for the collection of the vehicle and the Reception staff send an e-mail to National-Atesa, with the user data, so that the user can pick up the vehicle , paying in that moment the total amount of rent.

The user shall place the vehicle in a National-Atesa office by the expiry date of the rent.

However, it offers the option that the vehicle is delivered in the BASE and collected by the National-Atesa staff there, in the BASE, with payment of an additional fee.

Rates for rental of vehicles are properly informed at the TLP billeting´s Reception Desk.

Nation List Price

NATION LIST PRICE OPTION (List of Meals of a Participating Nation LMPN )

How to enjoy it:

To enjoy the Nation List Price, the user has to be included on the List of Meals of a Participating Nation (LMPN). The cost of meals taken by all members of the Country List is charged to the participant Country. The POC of each Nation has to fill in the appropriate form.This list is provided by the POC of each participating Nation to the TLP, before the course is started. This list identifies who is included and therefore which meals are free of cost to him. The user identifies himself/herself in the restaurant as a member of a participating Nation in the course and only pay for items not listed.

RESTAURANT PACK OPTION

What includes:

You will find several options depending on your preferences:

For Breakfast : Continental Breakfast (Coffee and a pastry) or English Breakfast (Eggs, Sausage or bacon, a glass of juice, and continental breakfast).

For Lunch or Dinner: Full menu (First course, main course, a dessert or a piece of fruit, a drink)

On weekends: Brunch plus dinner

Of the above meals you can choose the following options:

Pink Restaurant Pack : English Breakfast, lunch and dinner for 5 days

Blue Restaurant Pack : Continental Breakfast, lunch and dinner for 5 days

Yellow Restaurant Pack : Brunch plus dinner with full menu during for 2 days

How to buy:

Either, individual user or a participant Country can purchase the Restaurant pack card. Individual user has to acquire the Restaurant pack at the TLP Billeting’s Reception Desk. Payment in Cash or by credit card are accepted. Participant Country can also pay by bank transfer.

A participant Country can purchase the Restaurant Pack through their Point of Contact POC.

ADS Course

COURSE OBJECTIVES: The course will be focused on NATO Counter Air procedures. The objective is to provide the participant with sufficient and accurate information in order to be able to conduct Mixed Fighter Force Operations (MFFO) and Large Force Employment (LFE) in the Counter Air (CA) role.

Moreover, the course will cover the NATO threat and Intelligence Assessment.

COURSE CONTENT: The first day of the course will cover the Counter Air doctrine and concepts and the Command and Control Operations in CA operations. The second day will be dedicated to standing suplans and to the NATO threat. The third day covers operations specifics. Day 4 describes Joint Operations. Day 5 will develop contingency operations and Intelligence reporting.

COURSE LENGTH: 5 Days, conducted 4 times per year.

COURSE COMPOSITION: 30 participants are expected depending on available seating.

The course is aimed at junior aircrew current in CA roles. Participants must have a NATO Secret security clearance. Participants should have read trough the standing suplans and have a thorough knowledge of AD 80-6 Tactical Employment Manual.

COURSE FEE: TLP MOU participants will have the priority on attending the course with no fee. NON MOU nation participants will be asked to pay a course fee.

PR Course

COURSE OBJECTIVES: The course will enhance participant’s knowledge and understanding of Personnel Recovery Tactics, Techniques and Procedures

COURSE CONTENT: The course will briefly review the Personnel Recovery Doctrine and architecture and will cover through the role of key participant (AMC, OSC, RMC , RV,…) involved in a PR mission.

External briefers will provide their expertise, giving classes on Doctrine, LEGAD and real time experience. Two Vietnam war SANDY will give the participants a speech about their real experience.

There will be 1 mission DEMO exercise and 2 exercises run by the participants to enhance the PR mission planning.

The following brief will be included in the course:

· PR doctrine and architecture

· Lessons learned from previous scenarios

· The PR Players (AWACS,OSC,RESCAP,FW/RW Rescort, RV,ISOP)

· MC leadership and tools

· SOP development

· Intel Support

· LEGAD Support

COURSE COMPOSITION: max 40 participants are expected to attend the course.

The course is aimed at junior flying officers from all the types of aircraft that can be involved in PR (Fixed Wings, Rotary Wings, AWACS) however participation from INTEL are welcome.

EW Course

COURSE OBJECTIVES: The course will provide a foundation for understanding the electromagnetic spectrum and how it may best be exploited in joint air operations.

COURSE CONTENT: The course will briefly review electromagnetic, radar, IR, laser, and pulse doppler principles before dealing in depth with Electronic Warfare Support Measures, Electronic Counter Measures and Electronic Protection Measures. EW associated subjects will be covered, including:

Intel Course

COURSE OBJECTIVES: The course will enhance awareness of intelligence personnel in the concept of tactical air warfare and will increase mutual understanding and cooperation between NATO personnel. Participants are expected to demonstrate basic individual leadership skills.

COURSE CONTENT: The course will further train intelligence personnel on:

Intel procedures within NATO
- Reporting
- Intel from CC-Air perspective
- Intel fusion exercise

Intel support to COMAO
- Intel mission briefing
- COMAO roles: air-to-ground (incl. planning), air-to-air (incl. tactics), CSAR, SEAD/DEAD
- COMAO support exercise

Threat systems & tactics
- EW overview & radar principles
- Slow mover threats
- ETAT/ESTAT
- Threat analysis case study

Current world situation
- Iraq, Afghanistan
- State stability case study

Hands-on training is an important part of the course. The course comprises two full exercise days, in which the participants work in groups to support a COMAO and inform a commander about current crisis developments. NATO reporting (MISREP, KILLREP and INTREP) will be practiced. Moreover, the participants will prepare two case studies in small groups concerning threat analysis and state stability.

COURSE LENGTH: 8 full days (the course starts on Tuesday morning 09.00L and finishes on Thursday the next week at 17.00L). The course is given two times per year.

COURSE PARTICIPANTS REQUIREMENTS:

Junior Officers/NCO

Participants must bring a (copy of their) NATO SECRET security clearance and hand it over to TLP staff.

A proficient level of English for reading, listening and speaking is required.

Each participant should bring a 5-10’ presentation in English about their working experience (deployments and/or exercises), weapon system, unit, etc. and have it ready upon arrival on USB and/or CD (classification no higher than NATO RESTRICTED).

A basic understanding of ‘pilot language’ derived from CC-Air HQ Ramstein manual 80-6 on Tactical Employment of Air Power is recommended (especially Part 2, CH 1-5)

COURSE COMPOSITION: 24 participants are expected. The course is aimed at junior personnel who have 2 – 3 years working experience at squadron level.

Air to Land Integration Course

COURSE OBJECTIVES: The course will enhance participant’s knowledge and understanding of Air Land Integration.

COURSE CONTENT: The course will briefly look at aspects of Air Land Integration from both an Air and Land perspective. External speakers will be used to provide knowledge and experience to the course, for example Land Battle Management, Joint Fires.
