Events : Reunion on 16-18 June 2009

Dear all, After 20 years on Belgian soil the Tactical Leadership Programme will relocate from FLORENNES, Belgium to ALBACETE, Spain in Summer 2009. To commemorate all the remarkable moments of one of the most successful Fighter Training Programmes of NATO we are calling for a Reunion on 16.-17. June 2009 in the facilities of TLP at Airbase FLORENNES, Belgium.

Come and join us to see old friends, former staff members, participants, supporters and friends of TLP during a Meet & Greet program beginning in the afternoon of 16. June 2009 and extending into the evening.

The following day (17. June 09) marks the official closing ceremony of TLP FLORENNES hosted by the Belgian Air Force with attendance from high ranking officers and honorable VIPs. This day will end with a memorable party for all.
We will provide free transport to/from Charleroi Airport (Brussels South) and Charleroi Railway Station.
We may provide accommodation at affordable prices in TLP lodging facilities based on availability and following “first come – first serve” policy. Further accommodations can be found in nearby hotels.

Small costs may be raised to contribute to food, beverages and live entertainment program. Please forward this information to any friend of TLP we haven’t reached yet. Looking forward to see you soon.

TLP 2008/08 : Flying Branch

We look across the strategic landscape today, trying to predict what our next combat action will look like. Our job in the flying branch is to prepare our aircrews to fly, fight, and win that next conflict. We've made some remarkable progress toward that end in 2007, and will continue our pursuit of excellence in 2008.

TLP 2008/08 : TLP moves to Spain

In recent years, the primary complaint from both staff and participants has been the highly restrictive airspace in which TLP is forced to conduct flight operations, which can lead to poor training objectives.

General information : We will move in 2009 !

While TLP is currently based at Florennes Air Force Base in Belgium it is planned to be moved to Los Llanos Airfield, Alabacete, Spain in 2009.
A closing ceremony will take place on the 17th June 2009.
